With nearly 20 years of industry experience, I recognize many organizations lack a trusted communication partner to ensure their story is translated into impactful messaging and valuable connections. This, coupled with my passion for empowering brands with thoughtful communication strategies and maintaining a greater work/life balance, led me to create Kate + Steele.

Kate + Steele is a purpose-driven endeavor that allows me to help clients achieve their goals while fulfilling my passion, elevating brands, and empowering success through communications.
I grew up in a small community outside Oklahoma City, where I learned the importance of family and developed strong values, perseverance, and an enthusiastic spirit. After high school, I pursued my education at the University of Central Oklahoma, where I began to cultivate my passion for brand strategy and communications. I also had the opportunity to display my enthusiastic spirit when I made the UCO cheer squad, so don’t be surprised when you see some of my team spirit come out occasionally.
Guided by my mother's work ethic and grounded in my late father's humor, my career has led me to serve in various communication roles within a handful of organizations. My husband and I are blessed with two children, who serve as the driving force behind my company's name and mission. In rare moments of leisure, I enjoy reading, a warm cup of coffee, volunteering at church, and traveling.
